Harriet, the local witch is having a difficult time with the villagers. She asks the parents of Tanya if she can teach her the craft of the witches. When she is not at school, they agree to let Harriet teach Tanya, causing hostility against Tanya and her parents. However, they overcome the problems and turn the village back to prosperity. Tanya and her friend Patricia have their birthdays on different days, two days apart. They hold a joint birthday party on the day in between their actual birthdays. The day turns out to be a pivotal point in the story, when a vengeful witch reincarnates herself and tries to destroy the village and surrounding area. The story continues in seven separate parts as the years progress.

NOW, Tanya thought, as she worked up her spells, she sent two very large fireballs directly at Agoria, who somehow diverted them down to the ground on either side of her. Tanya had given her position away, so she stepped out into the street, with the two cats at her sides, rubbing against her legs, giving more power. Agoria gave out that awful cackling laugh and said. “I have you now Tanya, you will perish here today and never return.” As she said this she fired two large fireballs at Tanya, who casually brushed them aside. Sebastian and Jasmine curled around her ankles and she could feel the extra power flowing through her, which they were giving to help her defeat Agoria.

She was now in a situation of having her powers and her skills tested by a trip to Saggybottom where the Nastacians have turned up from the other side of the mountains. They were once again trying to enslave the small community of Dokumen who set up Saggybottom and prospered in their new lands. Angela has a bew black cat named Oliver and new blackbird named Max. Carol has a blackbird named Sam, who is the son of Max. Carol's cat came from Tanya's farm and is called Andrew. They travel to Saggybottom to confront the Nastacians and try to come to terms with them and find out if they wish to establish themselves in the Ebhoman Valley area. If they do not wish to live peacefully this side of the mountains, Angela and Carol will have a difficult job persuading them to return to their own land of Kardacia, on the other side of the mountains.

Carol and Jasmine face a witch who is their equivalent in powers, and could even be stronger. They therefore need all their skills, talents and powers to try to defeat this threat from the Nastacians. The population of the Ebhoman Valley back them in their struggle, as do the Dokumen and Skabearcou. They eventually have to call for help from Tanya and Angela. This does not mean they will succeed in defeating the Nastacians and push them back over the mountains into Nastacia. The only way the population of the Ebhoman Valley can survive will be if Carol, Jasmine, Tanya and Angela with the help of the Dokumen and the Skabearcou win the day. Maybe they need more help than they realise !!!!.

The Mountainous adventures of Jasmine and Peter would start in the following spring, after the worst of the snow had cleared. They would come across many surprises in the months while they were in the mountains, and learn a lot from Beech and Cedar, their Skabearcou guides, about living in such arduous conditions. In the remote part of the mountains, they find a hidden secret. The expedition ends in great success for Jasmine, Peter, Beech and Cedar; their discoveries going down in history...

It was not an easy task being ambassadors in Nastacia for the people of the Ebhoman Valley, plus the Skabearcou and the Documen. As the years passed by for them, they loved the life they now had together, especially their twin daughters. When the twins were quite young, they listened to the stories of the adventures of all “The Witches of Hambone”, which Jasmine and Peter told them as bedtime stories. The twins were influenced by these stories and had met all but the first witch of Hambone, Harriet, who had passed away not long after Jasmine and Peter were married. After Anne and Belinda, the twins, were initiated in the Dark Wood, they asked if they could go and live in Jaspeter, they loved the area and wanted to be there to help with everything that was going on in the now bustling little town on the hilltop. Jasmine and Peter agreed that they should be allowed to do this. Anne and Belinda were by now in their teens and inseparable twins, so they made a formidable force, being talented and powerful daughters of two of the youngest Witches of Hambone. The story starts with the twins settled into their new home in Jaspeter, and making themselves known to all who had not yet met them. The “IGUPYTH”, make another appearance in the river which flows from the mountains, and passes nearby to Jaspeter!

All sorts of crazy things happen to her, like when she is travelling at supersonic speeds on her broomstick, it breaks down and she crashes. Not hurt in the accident, (obviously being a witch) she is confronted by an angry bull, whose field she has landed in!!!!!!!!!!! She also gets struck by lightning, but that is another story?

Word was sent around the lands, far and wide, advertising the fact that there was a vacancy in the village of Simpleton, for a witch, whose duties would be the usual thing of looking after the locals and their families, plus the farmers and their animals, etc. etc. It did not take long before the villagers received word of several witches most of them young and newly qualified, who were looking for just such a post. To cut a short story, short, the village accepted the one they thought would best be suited for the post. Mistress Sillybeth was not at all like Muddledydo; she had not made herself look how a witch would usually look like, she was a beautiful dumb blonde, sorry, straw blonde.

The farmers are losing cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, and all sorts of their crops to some mysterious invaders of their farms; Sillybeth has traced certain signs but she is unable to handle the problem by herself. So she decides to call on Muddledydo to quit her easy life as the wife of the local tavern keeper, and help out in Sillybeth’s time of need. The action soon starts with Sillybeth getting into trouble trying to set spell traps for the thieves, and when she tries to follow them through the forest, she finds herself in a situation no witch should ever get into! Being attacked by the elves and their leaders, the goblins, Sillybeth needs help.

another story called “MIRANDA”, especially for this book. All the stories are full of fun and games, plus some illustrations. Animals play the biggest roles in all four stories, and this is intentional, because I do know children love stories all about animals and the things they get up to in their lives. The stories being kept short, this is so the young ones do not get bored with a long drawn out dialogue about what is going to happen later etc. The first three stories I have written in a chronological order, from one day to the next, and in one story, “Garden Friends”, through the seasons. These four make up a wonderful opportunity for your children, who will enjoy having them read to them at any time of the day, but especially at bedtime. These are easy to read, and easy for the youngest to understand. Enjoy with your children, enjoying these stories.
